FITNESS ASSESSMENT-$50 per person

Ideal for individuals looking to understand their current physical capabilities.

Includes: 1 hour assessment with a Certified personal trainer.

($50 fee will be deducted from a training package purchased within 1 week)

TANDEM TRAINING FOR TWO

Tandem training is a great way to get fit with a spouse or a friend. Having another person can provide motivation and accountability that you may be lacking and needing.

SPEED SESSION

30 minutes with our Certified personal trainer

-Trial session  $50

-3 sessions    $140

-8 sessions   $320

4 - 1 hour sessions

$160 per person

Cancellation Policy

A 24 hour notice to cancel fitness assessments and personal training sessions is required, or the session will be forfeited. A doctor’s note may be requested.

Sharon Fleming

Since 1988, Sharon has been recognized as a Registered Personal Trainer through the BC Recreation and Parks Association and the IDEA World Fitness Association. She continually takes pride in furthering her education through national and international conferences. Other qualifications Sharon holds include:-Diploma in Fitness and Nutrition     -Athletic drills

Stability Ball training                        -Stretching & flexibility-

Body Bar                                         -Training female athletes-

Bosu Ball .

Prior to joining the team at Fairwinds, Sharon operated her own training business for over 10 years in the lower mainland before relocating to the Oceanside area. During that time she worked as a conditioning coach for elite soccer, hockey and softball teams, the Richmond Country Club, as well as teaching her personal and small group training.  Adventures are Sharon’s passion. She enjoys leading groups on kayaking, hiking, snowshoeing, zip-lining and bike touring trips both locally and internationally. She participates in running events, adventure races, ice hockey and fundraising activities. With an emphasis on creating fun, realistic and manageable programs, Sharon strives to   motivate you in your personal goals for fitness.

 

BRENDAN LATTIMER

I’ll start with a little about me and my fitness journey. I’m 26 years old and athletics have been among the most important things in my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up playing Football, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Golf and Volleyball as well as running Track. I have played on various sports teams such as:

  • Premiere Baseball for the Coquitlam Reds and the Parksville Royals.
  • Football for the V.I Raiders.
  • Basketball through grade 12 at Kwalikum Secondary School.
  • U-16 Gold level Soccer in Vancouver and ran Track at Vancouver Technical Secondary School.
  • Golf and tennis were played on more of a hobby basis

I worked as an Assistant Coach for the Nanaimo Redmen and helped train V.I Raiders players once I concluded my playing career. I’ve spent a lot of my time training friends and family because fitness and nutrition are aspects of life I’m naturally very passionate about. I was encouraged by many of the people I’d worked with to become a Personal Trainer and make it into a career. Now that I’m Certified, I am extremely grateful for the push because this feels like a perfect fit with who I am and the skills I have to offer.

My philosophy focuses on continual lifelong learning as I work towards enhancing the well-being of my clients by empowering them with the knowledge, skills, support, guidance and resources to assist and inspire them on their journey to a healthier life. Together we will make your health & fitness goals become a reality in caring, fun and dynamic environment
