Travis Busch

Head Professional

Travis Busch is a PGA of Canada member and the Head Professional at Fairwinds Golf Club. He joined the PGA of Canada in 2012 while working and teaching at the Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre. His career path led him to Vancouver Island as he worked as an Associate Professional and Lead Golf Academy Instructor at a local Golf Resort. During his time there, he worked with the Junior Academy Program, attracting local and international students to the program. This program rounded out his ability to teach and coach students of any skill level with the common goal of improving their overall golf experience. He joined the team of instructors at Fairwinds Golf Club in the spring of 2022, and he plans to continue teaching and passing along his knowledge to allow those he works with to achieve their goals.

Travis also pushes himself to compete in events at the provincial, national, and tour levels. The knowledge and experience personally gained from these high-level tournaments allow Travis to prepare his students pursuing competitive golf to perform under the pressure of such events. He believes competitive golf is the purest form of golf, and seeing success in tournaments is rewarding to the student and himself as an instructor.
